Freshstart Removals and Clearance LTD – Terms & Conditions
1. Quote Validity
• This quote is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.
• After this period, a new quote will be required, and pricing may remain the same or increase in line with current costs such as fuel, labour, and material expenses.
2. Key Wait Times
• We understand that delays in receiving keys can happen.
• We offer a 1-hour free waiting period at the new property.
• After the first hour, a charge of £30 per hour will apply.
• Key wait time charges do not apply with the Luxe Move Package.
3. Parking and Permits
• It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange and obtain any required parking or commercial permits prior to the scheduled move or clearance date.
• If this is not arranged and a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) is issued to Freshstart Removals and Clearance Ltd, the customer will be fully liable for the payment of any such fines and associated costs.
4. Deposit & Booking Confirmation
• A 30% deposit is required to accept this quote and secure your moving date.
• A signed quote and deposit are both required before we can confirm your booking and reserve your date.
• We cannot guarantee your booking without the completed signing process and deposit.
5. Large Items & Selected-Only Items
• This quotation is based on the items you have confirmed with us.
• If any items were not listed, or if details change, we will review this on the day and advise you of any price adjustments if needed.
• Our team will always do their best to accommodate you and ensure your move runs smoothly.
• By signing these terms and conditions, you confirm that the items listed in this quote are accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
6. Final Payment
• The remaining balance must be paid on the day of the move, before completion of the job.
7. VAT Information
• Freshstart Removals and Clearance LTD is VAT registered.
• All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
• VAT will be applied at the current HMRC rate and clearly shown on your invoice.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
• Deposits are non-refundable if the move is cancelled within 7 days of the scheduled date.
• If cancellation occurs earlier than this, we may offer a refund or transfer the deposit to a new date, subject to availability.
9. Customer Responsibilities
• All items should be packed and ready for loading unless we have agreed to provide a packing service.
• Fragile or high-value items must be clearly marked and brought to our team’s attention on the day of the move.
